Eurohoops fantasy update for 25th week

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

Tabula rasa! It’s time for the playoffs series and the fantasy challenge at this point is really a challenge for everyone! With less teams and players, the choices are more difficult. But before going further, what happened in the Top 16? The leader in Eurohoopnset league until now is EVICROCK with 3.881 points, 21 more than Alri has. The end is near, so any mistake costs from now on.

After 14 Top16 weeks we have to change completely change you teams and create new ones with the credits you collected so far. Eurohoopsnet team is rich having 630 credits!

Τhe core will be the same with the team that finished the Top 16. Starting with the perimeter, the players in the “2-3” position will remain exactly the same: Rudy Fernandez, Vassilis Spanoulis, Devin Smith and Jamon Lucas are our picks due to the shortage of steady quality players. Good picks (but with question marks about their stability) are also, Papanikolaou, Weems and Logan.

In the point guards we pick Milos Teodosic (photo) because he is two steps further over his opponents and Hickman, who is usually good when Maccabi faces an opponent which also likes to run.

Among the big guys, we pick with second thoughts our beloved Khryapa, James and Tomic. The last one will be Kaun due to his great development. It’s worthy also to check Lorbek and Hines.

Enjoy fantasy!

Point Guards

Ricky Hickman 66,1 credits
During the last month he had a 20,2 ranking per game. He scores a lot and if you have in mind that Real doesn’t control the game always, he is a safe pick.

Milos Teodosic 59,7 credits
Caja Laboral has a lot of talented guards, but not a great defender. And only in that way it’s possible for someone to stop Milos.

Shooting Guards/Small Forwards

Rudy Fernandez 72,1 credits
He’s hot and he has the chance to find a lot of gaps in Maccabi’s defense. Also he can collect points by getting rebounds over the undersized Maccabi’s line ups.

Vassilis Spanoulis 68,8 credits
Recently he is far away from having in every game a really huge ranking. But now is the time for Reds’ captain to shine. And he will do it (hopefully).

Devin Smith 51,75 credits
He is almost perfect during the last two months and it’s not too risky to keep him in Madrid, where he will be valuable for his team.

Jamon Lucas 47,9 credits
He knows Olympiacos very well and usually his games against his old team are good. He does a lot of things in the court and it’s expected to have a great score.

Power Forwards/Centers

Viktor Khryapa 73,2 credits
He is oversized in comparison with Caja’s forwards. He can make the difference in the first game with his all around game.

Shawn James 71,8 credits
He’s money in the bank. Against a front line without really big guys (except Begic) he can grab a lot of rebounds and score near the basket.

Ante Tomic 70,7 credits
The Croatian remains the most solid player of Barcelona. Panathinaikos hasn’t players who can follow him (Gist, Tsartsaris), so he’s a very good choice.

Sasha Kaun 47,8 credits
He plays excellent recently and didn’t lose his minutes after Khryapa’s return. He’s too strong, has tremendous percentage in 2ps (71%) and if he receives a lot of times the ball, he ‘ll have a 15+ ranking.
