The Eurocup season is about to end with this week’s final in Charleroi and the competition is announcing its individual awards. We started with Fotis Katsikaris of Bilbao being named the Eurocup Coach of the Year and Bojan Dubljevic of Valencia as the 2012-13 Eurocup Rising Star.

But here are the players that made a difference for their teams this season. The All Eurocup first team members are guards Nick Calathes of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar and Malcolm Delaney of BC Budivelnik Kiev, forwards Justin Doellman of Valencia Basket and Kostas Vasileiadis of Uxue Bilbao Basket and center John Bryant of ratiopharm Ulm, all of them with the exception of Vasileiadis making their Eurocup debute.

The All-Eurocup second team features Walter Hodge of Stelmet Zielona Gora, Chuck Eidson of Unics Kazan, Derrick Brown of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, Lamont Hamilton of Uxue Bilbao Basket and Loukas Mavrokefalidis of Spartak St. Petersburg.

The last award to be given, is the MVP of the season, probably to a member of the All Eurocup first team and it wouldn’t be a surprise if his team is playing in the final, leaving Greeks Nick Calathes and Kostas Vasileiadis as the main candidates. Here is also Nick Calathes interview in Eurohoops.
