Since Euroleague’s (2000-01 season) and Eurocup’s (2002-03 season) establishment under ULEB, only nine players have won both titles. The last three of them (Calathes, Maric, Savrasenko) did it on Saturday night in Charleroi wearing Lokomotiv Kuban against Bilbao.
The first one who did it was Lazaros Papadopoulos (Fotsis had won in 2000 with Panathinaikos the Euroleague title under Fiba) and Alexey Savrasenko has the most titles among the nine of them, three Euroleague (one with Olympiacos in (1997) and one Eurocup title.
Apart from the club of the nine players, only one coach has celebrated this achievement! Dusan Ivkovic has won with Olympiacos the Euroleague title twice and the Eurocup title with Dynamo Moscwo in 2006!
