Euroleague surprised us with this decision. For the first time the All Euroleague team and the MVP will be announced before the semifinals and here are the best five players of the season with two true centers in the front line.
The All-Euroleague members are Dimitris Diamantidis of Panathinaikos Athens, Vassilis Spanoulis of Olympiacos Piraeus, Rudy Fernandez of Real Madrid, Ante Tomic of FC Barcelona Regal and Nenad Krstic of CSKA Moscow. The MVP is among those players, excluding Diamantidis whose team is not participating in the Final Four.
That also means that the second All-Euroleague team includes Milos Teodosic of CSKA, Juan Carlos Navarro of Barcelona, Viktor Khryapa of CSKA, Nikola Mirotic of Real Madrid and Shawn James of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv. And our prediction of Khryapa getting the MVP award is officially wrong.
