When it was first reported, it was denied, but Vitaly Fridzon left Khimki for cross town rival CSKA Moscow. The Russian guard signed a multi year deal and after adding Jeremy Pargo and keeping Aaron Jackson, the next move in the back court of coach Ettore Messina will be the signing of Zoran Planinic. Of course the future of Serbian guard Milos Teodosic with the team is in question.
Also, the Croatian champions Cibona announced the signing of Croatian coach Neven Spahija. One of the most respected coaches in Europe, Spahija said that it will be a challenge for him to build a team with NBA draft prospect Dario Saric in the roster.
