One of the teams with the most impressive rosters in Euroleague will reduce its budget for the upcoming season. Efes Anadolu decided to do it after a season that didn’t ended with positive results on the court.

The big sponsor of the team, Anadolu, will give less money for the basketball club and will reduce the budget by 30%. Having in mind that the Turks have spent the previous season about 20 million euros, they must create a new team costing about 14 millions. However, the planning has already some specific points. Two members of the current roster, Batista and Barac, are unwanted in Istanbul but their contract costs one million euros each. They will probably leave the team but they will also get compensated almost the total amount of their money. So, the coach will have in his hands nearly 12 million euros.

Also, you have to add the money that Jordan Farmar will receive if he stays with the team. The American guard has an NBA out clause until 15th of July in his contract and he is exploring every option available without excluding anything at this point. However, if he chose to return to the States, Efes will have three more million to spend next season.
