Friday was a day full of transaction but none of the big stars in Europe were involved. However one familiar name at least to NCAA fans is continuing his progress in Europe. Matt Howard (photo), former NCAA finalist with Butler and also a former player of Olympiacos, signed with Ratiopharm Ulm and will compete in next season’s Eurocup.
Also in Eurocup, Unics Kazan announced the addition of former CSKA Moscow‘s center Dmitry Sokolov and Panionios signed Serbian guard Uros Duvnjak from AGOR.
In Euroleague, CSKA Moscow replaced Sokolov with Grigory Shukhovtsov and French champions Nanterre renewed the contract of Johan Passave Ducteil for the next two seasons.
