James Gist will remain a player of Panathinaikos for the next two years. Just minutes after the news of Stephan Lasme’s unsuccessful negotiations the Greens announced officially what was already known since the end of the season. Gist agreed to a two seasons contract extension that will pay him a sum of 1.5 million dollars.

Also German runner up EWE Oldenburg announced that they are keeping point guard Dru Joyce who will compete with his team in Euroleague’s qualifying round. The champions, Brose Baskets, signed shooting guard Jamar Smith from Galil Gilboa with a two seasons’ deal.

In Turkey Sinan Guler posted on twitter the logo of Galatasaray, practically announcing his transfer to the team. Guler left Anadolu Efes and the initial reports wanted him to have a deal in place with Fenerbahce.
