Ilias Zouros (photo) was the coach of Zalgiris Kaunas almost for a year and now he returns to Lithuania in his old team. The difference this time is the owner, as Vladimir Romanov has left the team and that means also that his notorious antics towards coaches are a matter of the past. Zouros signed a two year contract and will try to rebuild the team, having very limited resources.

In Russia, Lokomotiv Kuban announced that Krunoslav Simon is their new addition. The Croatian sharp shooter after a season in Unicaja Malaga is heading to Eastern Europe, also having signed a two years deal. Also, in Germany Ulm announced the signing of forward Philipp Scwethelm for the next two seasons. The player is a member of Ulm since last year, but he was loaned for the 2012-13 season to the team by Bayern Munich.
