It was a busy Wednesday morning with four Euroleague teams announcing transaction. The most important move was Maccabi Tel Aviv re-signing for two more season Devin Smith. The deal is reported to cost 1,7 million dollars to the Israelis who wanted to keep the 32 years old forward. It seemed like an easy task, however Smith have been offered to many top teams around Europe, including Euroleague champions Olympiacos.

In Greece one other veteran got a big break. Ramel Curry was added to champions Panathinaikos before the Greek play offs and after a long career that included stops from Israel to Venezuela and from Ukraine to Mexico, he re-signed with the Greens for one more year.

Lokomotiv Kuban retained one of its core players by re-signing Derrick Brown for two more years. A gifted scorer with NBA experience will have the chance to shine next season in Euroleague. Last but not least Laboral Kutxa announced the signing of Lamont Hamilton from nearby Bilbao also to a two years deal. It was a move rumored for a very long time and the Spanish media were proven right.
