Euroleague confirmed what Eurohoops and “Gazzetta Dello Sport” have reported for the competition’s wildcards. Bayern Munich of Germany, Budivelnyk of Ukraine and Strasbourg of France are the three teams that will fill the three empty regular season spots, getting one year wildcards as the A licences are reduced by one, because Prokom lost its license.

As for the qualifying round, the eight teams are Nymburk, Banvit, Telenet Ostend, VEF Riga, Lietuvos Rytas, EWE Baskets Oldenburg, Khimki and Cimberio Varese, with the last two teams receiving wildcards.
