Milwaukee Bucks picked Giannis Antetokounmpo in number 15 of the NBA draft and the team has a certain plan for the 18 years old player. All the way from the start, they saw a raw talent and all they wanted to do is work with his body and build it up for the NBA. It’s a process that will require time but they would rather do it themselves than anyone else in order to have full control of it.
For that reason the team will sign Antetokounmpo right now instead of allowing him to play in Europe for the next two or three years. Antetokounmpo will travel to Milwaukee for his official presentation and according to the rookie salary scale his contract with the Bucks will pay him in total 4,5 million dollars for the next three seasons.
The Greek player with Nigerian origin has a contract with Spanish club Zaragoza which has a comfortable NBA buy out and this clause will be used by the Bucks.
