We are approaching the middle of July and there are still many open spots in Euroleague’s roster. That’s why we already have a storm of announcements on Friday with seven players signing new deals.
In Russia, Khimki signed a two years contract with Mike Green who comes from a great season in Legabasket as a member of Varese. Green is essentially the replacement of last season’s leader of Khimki, Zoran Planinic. One more guard is getting also ready for his Euroleague debut, as Bryce Taylor signed also a two seasons deal with Bayern Munich.
In France, 23 years old Paul Lacombe left ASVEL for a two seasons contract with Strasbourg, in Ukraine Budivelnyk Kiev announced the addition of forward Micah Downs and in Turkey, Banvit which is preparing for the qualifying round boosted the experience in its roster with 33 years old center Ermal Kuqo.
In Eurocup, Oliver Lafayette left Zalgiris and Euroleague in order to sign with Spanish club Valencia for next season and Italian club Cantu has a new floor general, Michael Jenkins.
