Serbian forward Nemanja Bjelica was one of the first names that were mentioned as potential targets of Turkish club Fenerbahce/ Ulker after the signing of coach Zeljko Obradovic and also Barcelona would like to get him. So, Bjelica, whose NBA rights belong to Minnesota Timberwolves, is about to leave Laboral Kutxa despite being also on the verge of signing a four year extension.
As he said himself in an really long interview with “Mozzart Sports”, his team offered him a four years extension and he is about to sign it. However, that doesn’t change the fact that Laboral Kutxa is willing to send him to the highest bidder. There are also rumors about Bjelica’s teammate in Spain, Polish center Maciej Lampe and his possible transfer to an other Turkish club, Galatasaray. As for Fenerbahce/ Ulker, after deciding not to pursue Stratos Perperoglou, who stayed in Olympiacos and his contract’s buy out deadline expired on Friday, is also trying to get Luca Zoric from Unicaja Malaga.
