As Eurohoops reported first, Barcelona announced the signing of Joey Dorsey, former Euroleague champion with Olympiacos. The contract of the former NBAer is a two years deal and as “Gigantes” reported on Tuesday night, an other player from Piraeus is also a target of Barcelona.
The Catalans are searching for a small forward and they have made an offer to Olympiacos in order to buy out the contract of Kostas Papanikolaou. The Greek player will be a free agent next summer, there are rumors about Barcelona offering 1,5 million euros to Olympiacos in order to release him and everyone is waiting the official reaction from the Euroleague champions.
Meanwhile, Czech champions Nymburk which will compete in the upcoming Euroleague qualification round announced the signing of Scotty Reynolds from Brindisi, while MZT Skopje from FYROM signed local point guard Aleksandar Kostoski.
