When Eurohoops reported it at first, a lot of people decided not to believe it. However, Mirza Begic is the new center of Olympiacos and he completes the front line of the team. As the Greek club announced Begic signed a two seasons deal with the team. According to Eurohoops sources the annual salary of the former Real Madrid center is somewhere around 650.000 euros net.
It’s an offer very simular to the one he had from Real Madrid in order to remain with the team, but the challenge to sign with the Euroleague champions and also the fact that he wanted a change of environment made all the difference.
