There were rumors about his possible return to Russia, but Timofey Mozgov will stay in the NBA with a new contract with the Denver Nuggets. He is ready to sign a new three-year contract for 14 million dollars and after the trade that send Kostas Koufos to Memphis, he will have a bigger role next season.

There were also two moves that surprised almost everyone. Not only the Atlanta Hawks signed to a 1+1 deal two time Euroleague champion with Olympiacos Pero Antic, but also the Milwaukee Bucks acquired Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica, once a big time European prospect who played last season for Azovmash Mariupol.

Last but not least, according to Russian reports Nick Calathes whose rights were traded to Memphis, is in contact with his Russian team, Lokomotiv Kuban, in order to buy out his contract and continue his career in the NBA. The buy out deadline in his European contract expires today.
