Gelabale signed with Khimki

Olympiacos should move to an other direction in order to find its new starting small forward. Mickael Gelabale will continue his career in Khimki, where he signed a contract for next year replacing K.C. Rivers who was released on Friday, while the Euroleague champions are back almost at square one.

The team has agreed to terms with Cartier Martin, but the deal wasn’t completed by the Greeks and probably will not be. They decided that they want a player with more experience in Europe and a name that was considered to be low in their list will probably emerge as the front runner.

Former Spur Malik Hairston is their man, despite the fact that the player still has a contract with EA7 Milano. However, Hairston is expected to be released and Olympiacos is ready to get him to Piraeus.
