Papaloukas beat Olympiacos in court

Theodoros Papaloukas took Olympiacos to court and won. The former captain of the Reds had filed a complain against his former team to BAT, asking for 1,61 m. euros as pamesports.gr reported first, money owned to him from his salary in the 2010-11 season. The decision of FIBA’s arbitrational court was in favor of him. Olympiacos had to pay him 1,59 m. euros plus interest and judicial expenses. The total sum of money Papaloukas has to receive from the Reds now is 1,75 m. euros. Olympiacos can take the case to CAS, appealing the decision of BAT.

UPDATE: As Olympiacos announced, the team will take the case against Papaloukas to CAS. The team insists that there was a verbal agreement with the player for a pay cut.
