It’s business as usual on Monday morning even in mid-August. French runner ups Strasbourg announced the signing of former Utah Jazz player Kevin Murphy who was picked in no. 47 of the 2012 draft.

In Kaunas, veteran center Robertas Javtokas stayed with Zalgiris for two more seasons. The extension of the 33 years old center was vital for the team which is also counting on young Lithuanian talent by signing Mindaugas Kupsas (2.17, 22 ), Arturas Gudaitis (2.08, 20) and Latvian Kaspars Vecvagars (1.93, 20) with three year deals. In Ukraine, Budivelnyk Kiev announced the addition of 29 years old scorer Blake Ahearn who played last season in China.

Also in Turkey, former player of Anadolu Efes Joshua Shipp according to Eurohoops sources is having advanced negotiations with Turk Telekom. If he signs with the team he will reunite with an other former Efes player, Kerem Tunceri. In Eurocup, Kalev Cramo added Romanian forward Vlad Moldoveanu to a one-year contract and Artland Dragons signed Antonio Graves who finished last season as the champion in the second division of Italy.
