DeShaun Thomas, no58 pick in the latest NBA draft, will start his professional career in Europe. After three seasons in Ohio State the rookie whose NBA rights belong to San Antonio Spurs, will try to prove himself as a member of French champions Nanterre in Euroleague.
In Eurocup, Italian club Sassari announced the signing of 23 years old Argentinian Juan Fernandez, a member of his country national team. In Greece, Panionios added center Guy-Marc Michel who played in the same country for KAOD during the last two seasons. Also the club has announced the signing of 17 years old Dimitris Stamatis, son of former player Antonis Stamatis, who is considered one of the most talented prospects in Greece.
