With 5 new foreign players, Olympiacos left no empty spot on their roster and now they are focusing on getting young and talented Greeks. The Reds agreed with Panionios BC, on paying Dimitris Agravanis’ buy out and get him to be a member of Europe champs. The 19-year old forward (2.08 height) will be the 6th addition on Olympiacos’ roster, this summer.
Panionios will get 125.000 euros, the number was on Agravanis’ contract with them for next summer and the Greek national player (with the U20) will sign a multiyear contract with the Reds (most probably till 2018).
Agravanis played with the Greek national team U20 to the recent European championship, in Estonia and he will be a part of Olympiacos’ first meeting in 21th of August. The back to back Europe’s champs also had their eyes on Ioannis Papapetrou (Texas University) but as he posted on his account in Instagram, he will fly to Texas and continue his studies and his basketball program over there.
