With the new financial landscape in Zalgiris Kaunas, there is no room for big contracts and Lavrinovic brothers don’t fit in the new budget. That’s why, as it was expected from the start of the summer, they will need to find a new team and Darjus already did.
Euroleague newcomer Budivelnyk announced officially his addition in its roster, just days before the start of the upcoming Eurobasket. Lavrinovic is a member of the Lithuanian national team and after the end of the European championship in Slovenia he will go to Ukraine and start practicing with his new team.
