NBA for Pete, Hedo for Fener

One American who was a star in Europe may end up in the NBA, while Hedo Turkoglu is expected to take the opposite route. Pete Mickael after his health problems wants to return to action and has contacted Barcelona in hopes of getting a contract. However, according to hoopshype the veteran player is on the radar of NBA teams, including the Lakers and the Sixers.

Meanwhile Hedo Turkoglu is getting ready for the upcoming Eurobasket, but his agent is negotiating with Orlando the buy out of the final year of his contract. If Hedo end up being a free agent, it’s more than possible that he will return to his country and sign a two year deal with Fenerbahce/ Ulker that will pay him according to Turkish reports in total 7 million dollars net. Fenerbahce also signed a possible future Turkish star, Kenan Sipahi, MVP of the latest U18 FIBA Europe championship, with a 3+1 year deal.

An other Euroleague team, Unicaja, as it was expected, announced the signing of Serbian big man Vladimir Stimac.
