The focus of European basketball is Slovenia because of Eurobasket 2013, but life goes on and the clubs around the continent are still preparing for the upcoming season.
Three Eurocup teams completed transfers during the last days with the most important being Spartak Saint Petersburg adding point guard Donnie McGrath who started last season in PAOK and finished it in Zalgiris Kaunas. His former team, PAOK, announced the signing of forward Mark Payne who played for Panionios last year and Asesosft Ploiesti inked forward/center Gerald Lee who played for Buducnost.
