Eurobasket 2013 ended with a smile for Finland after this qualification to the second round and a win against host country Slovenia in its last game. The players of coach Henrik Dettmann will return to their clubs in order to prepare themselves for the upcoming season and in the case of Petteri Koponen this club is Khimki.
However, the guard who shined in the tournament confirmed to Eurohoops that there was a possibility of him moving to Turkey: “There were some contacts with Banvit, but I will continue my career with Khimki. I have a contract for one more year and I will stay there”.
