After a first half that was competitive, order was restored in Istanbul. Oklahoma City Thunder, led by Kevin Durant (24 p.) got the 95-82 win over the hosts, Fenerbahce Ulker. The Turkish club is building a new project under legendary coach Zelimir Obradovic, has former NBA player Linas Kleiza in its roster, Nets draftee Bojan Bogdanonic and Minessota draftee Nemanja Bjelica who wasn’t used in the game.

Fenerbahce led after the first quarter (28-20), but the Thunder had the lead by halftime (48-42) and the hosts couldn’t react after that. Obradovic gave minutes to all his players, specially 18 years old point guard Kenan Sipahi, the MVP of the last FIBA U18 championship. The Thunder were without injured Russell Westbrook, so Reggie Jackson started the season as a starter. The only player who scored in double digits exept Durant was Spaniard Serge Ibaka (15 p.). The top scorer of Fenerbahce was Bogdanovic with 19 points.
