European basketball was shocked on Friday by the news of Nathan Jawai being hospitalized after the game with Olympiacos. According to the initial reports the Australian center of Galatasaray was rushed to the hospital after the game and has been moved to intensive care unit due to heavy vertigo and topagnosis on his arm.
However his condition seems to be not that grave, as Galatasaray announced via a press release. “The player had a whiplash injury by taking a hit to his jaw” explained the text and also that his general medical condition is good, despite still being in the intensive care.
Αs “turbasket” reported via twitter: “After detailed examinations, Jawai is diagnosed with neck trauma, he will move to a regular patient room from ICU and return to an action soon”.
