Nanterre was searching for a guard, its former leader David Lighty was cut by the Atlanta Hawks and his return to France is officially announced. The MVP of the last French league finals is back with the team he led to the title and the question is if he can help them have success in Euroleague.
According to the club website: “During the summer, coach Pascal Donnadieu had always been in touch with the player about his possible return. This relationship has led to a quick agreement. His arrival was accelerated by the hip injury of Kevin Lisch”. However, Lighty is not expected to be used by the team this week in Euroleague.
