Panathinaikos wanted to add one more play maker in its roster, specially with Roko Leni Ukic still not being himself after his recent injury, and the solution to the problem proved to be quite easy. The Greens signed Giorgos Apostolidis, who was helping the team in practices since the start of the training camp. The 29 years old guard has been a member of Greek junior national teams and has the experience to help Panathinaikos immediately.
In order to make room for Apostolidis in the roster, Panathinaikos cut center Gaios Skordilis who is expected to continue his career in Eurocup participant Panionios.
