Once again we are in hurry because there is one game scheduled on Wednesday. After four weeks there aren’t so many underpriced players who can offer you credits but you can still find a bunch of them. Many visitors of the website asked last week about our philosophy to hunt underpriced players and not those ones who can “guarantee” big scores.
We must explain that the first target of every fantasy player should be to collect credits because that way you can buy later the most expensive names latter and win the weekly and season’s award. If you have now more than 600 credits you have done a very god job. So, it’s not the timeyet for buying overpriced players who can offer you points (for example Spanoulis, Gordon or Kleiza).
Eurohoopsnet team has 608,7 credits and 508 points in total and we hope to continue earning money. Josh Carter’s bet last week wasn’t succesfull, so he leaves. Also, Bykov isn’t any more a bargain and we also need one more player to leave. He should be expensive, because we need the credits in order to buy a good pg and a forward. On the same time we want desperately Pops-Mensah Bonsu on our team, so Hendrix is the player who leaves. In addition to the British center, we pick Hickman and Langford because they play at home and can produce.
Enjoy fantasy!
Point Guards
Ricky Hickman 53,9 credits
He plays at home against Panathinaikos, who is weak in perimeter’s defense. Usually in Tel Aviv he’s good, so it’s a safe choice.
Mantas Kalnietis 44,9 (+5,9) credits
He is one of the only 2-3 underpriced point guards left and he can offer you credits without such a great performance. He will give you 6 more credits with a better ranking than 6,5!
Shooting Guards/Small Forwards
Scotty Hopson 86,8 (+10,8) credits
Efes faces Real in Madrid, one of the hardest games of the regular season for the Turks. Hopson must have more than 28,5 ranking to add to his value but he can make it cause he likes to “run ‘n gun”.
Daniel Hackett 85 (-8,7) credits
Against Olympiacos he wasn’t good but Siena must beat Unicaja and the leader of the team can have a big ranking. If his ranking is more than 21 he will raise his value.
Keith Langford 66 credits
He’s not stable but Strasbourg is a weak opponent that can help him bounce back. His killer instict can offer you many points.
Nikos Pappas 23,8 (+2,8) credits
He plays a lot and he is the best guard of Panathinaikos on one on one, something important against Maccabi’s defense.
Power Forwards/Centers
Alexis Ajinca 88,9 (+11,6) credits
His choice is money in the bank. If he scores more than 19 he will increase his (already high) value. He plays well everywhere against everyone, so Milan it’s nothing more than a challenge for him.
Bryant Dunston 69,8 (+9,1) credits
His choice last week was perfect. Without Simmons he should play again a lot of minutes and against Zielona Gora he can make it.
Boban Marjanovic 61,9 (-,04) credits
He’s not underpriced any more, but the game against Rytas is a chance for him to bounce back to big numbers.
Pops Mensah-Bonsu 39,1 credits
He’s the most popular player in fantasy during the last two weeks. Galatasaray has many injuries, he started well and he is a safe pick that can give you points and credits.
