The complaint of Buducnost was turned down as ABA League director Josip Bilic announced. That means the amazing buzzer beater three pointer of Jaka Vladovic (video) counts and also the road win of Union Olimpija against Buducnost (78-76) still stands. The host team has the right for an appeal but at this point a move like this can be considered futile.
The team from Montenegro was also punished with a 500 euros fine “due to inappropriate behavior of the assistant coach Mr. Rakocevic after the game, which led to the report filed by the judge. Rakocevic is also prohibited of performing his duties on 1 (one) game”.
