Despite the reports about Damir Markota returning to Croatia for Cedevita after getting released by Brose Baskets, the player will remain away from his home country. As it was officially announced, Markota returned to his former team Bilbao basket and signed a contract until the end of the season. It has to be noted that Bilbao and Cedevita are competing in the same Eurocup group.
Also an other player returned to his old team, as Adrian Banks, a key player in the successful last season of Varese, left Israel and Hapoel Galil Elyon for the Italian club which also competes in Eurocup.
