Despite being on the verge of missing Euroleague’s Top16, Lietuvos Rytas added former NBA player Zabian Dowdell who was a member of Russian club Enisey Krasnodar last season. The 29 years old guard signed a contract until the summer of 2014.
After all the European season will continue for Lietuvos, at least in Eurocup, and the team had to replace injured Omar Cook. Dowdell is expected to be used in this week’s Euroleague contest against Laboral Kutxa, a must win road game for the Lithuanians.
