Begic will play in Top16’s premiere

The appeal of Olympiacos changed at least a little bit the initial heavy punishment of the team and its members after the “brawl in Piraeus“.

As Euroleague announced, Mirza Begic’s penalty was reduced to a ban for three games and a 10.001 euros fine. That means the Slovenian center of Olympiacos will have the right to play in the first Top16 game. Still Olympiacos will face Siena without fans while the appeal of Galatasaray about the three games ban of Pops Mensah Bonsu is still under consideration.
