As Brose Baskets enters the climax of its effort for Top16, the German champions made headlines by adding Elias Harris to their roster. The German forward left the NBA and the Lakers in order to return to his home country and on Monday he is expected to sign his contract after the medical exams.

Harris wasn’t picked in the draft after four years in Gonzaga (2009-2013). In his last season he had 14.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 1.5 asp, 1.1 spg in 35 NCAA games. He decided not to play in Eurobasket 2013 in order to get a spot in the NBA, but despite signing a deal with the Lakers, he ended up in NBADL and decided to return to Europe.
