The game between Laboral Kutxa and Lokomotiv Kuban will decided the final standings in Group D and also the final composition of the two new Top16 Groups.
So far Group E includes Olympiacos, Fenerbahce/ Ulker, Barcelona, Unicaja, Ea7 Milano, Anadolu Efes and two of Lokobasket, Panathinaikos and Laboral Kutxa. Group F consists of Real Madrid, Maccabi Tel Aviv, CSKA Moscow, Galatasaray, Zalgiris, Partizan, Bayern Munich and one of the group D trio.
If Laboral Kutxa wins the game against Lokomotiv Kuban by two or more points, then the Spaniards and Panathinaikos will end up in Group E and the Russians will complete Group F. If Laboral Kutxa wins just by one point, then it will go to Group F, while Lokomotiv and Panathinaikos will play at Group E. But if Lokomotiv Kuban wins the game, then the Russians and Laboral Kutxa will play in Top16 Group E and Panathinaikos will end up in Group F.
