As it was expected after the end of the Greek cup semifinal of Aris against Panionios, it was confirmed via twitter from his agent that coach Vangelis Aggelou will continue his career in Turkey as the new boss of Anadolu Efes. After the 88-79 win of Aris, agent Giorgos Dimitropoulos announced that his client is leaving Greece for a 2,5 years deal with a “Euroleague team” without naming it directly, but at this point the cat is out of the bag.
As we have exclusively reported two days ago this deal can be considered the first step towards the future hiring of Dusan Ivkovic by the Turkish team. As for Aris, the team will face in the Greek cup final the winner of Monday’s game at OAKA between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.
