The serial of the new Panathinaikos‘ signing is about to end. According to “Gigantes” and as we have reported on Friday morning via twitter, Zack Wright is ready to travel to Athens and be announced as the new player of Panathinaikos. That will happen on Monday, after the Sunday game against Tubingen.
According to “Gigantes” his replacement in Brose Baskets may be one of Laboral Kutxa’s Walter Hodge (something that was reported also by Corriere dello sport), Marcus Williams of Lokomotiv Kuban – a scenario somehow far fetched at this point as the Russian club is ready to release an other guard, Sergey Bykov, because he “violated the team’s rules of conduct” – and Justin Dentmon of Zalgiris Kaunas as German website “Courtreview” reported.
The decision of Panathinaikos seems final and that means the offer to Pooh Jeter is off the table. As we reported, Jeter is also a target of Fenerbahce/ Ulker, he may decide to rest before the upcoming FIBA World Cup in which he will be the leader of the Ukrainian national team, but “Gigantes” insists there is one more Euroleague offer for him.
