Anton is back, Poeta and Draper hurt

The signing of Lamar Odom overshadowed every other move in Euroleague, however one more player is ready to return in Top16 with his new team and there are also two important absences. Peppe Poeta, a teammate of Odom in Laboral Kutxa, will miss the next three weeks of action due to torn thigh muscle.

The situation is worst for Dontaye Draper (photo) of Real Madrid who, due to a fracture of the big toe on his right foot, is expected to stay out of action for the next months. His team has a full roster with many quality players, but Draper was the best perimeter defender of the team and his absence may cost.

Last but not least, former CSKA Moscow guard Anton Ponkrashov signed a contract with Lokomotiv Kuban until the end of the season, leaving Krasnye Krylia. Practically that move all but confirms the release of Sergey Bykov who is expected to be cut for the team after he had a clash with coach Pashutin.
