After the inglorious end of its European campaign for the 2013-14 season, Brose Baskets which couldn’t get passed Eurocup’s “Last32” announced the release of Zack Wright and Novica Velickovic. Wright will continue his season in Greek champion Panathinaikos, with the German club getting a buy out which according to sources close to the situation is estimated at 50.000 euros.
Brose Baskets is expected to replace Wright, however Velickovic’s come back in the top European level can be called a failed experiment and Elias Harris has already took his role in the team. After a season in Mega Vizura the 27 years old Serbian, once hailed as a top talent but plagued by injuries, couldn’t be a contributor in a Euroleague team.
