Pierre Jackson the 42nd pick in the 2013 NBA draft whose rights are owned by New Orleans Pelicans is expected to be the new addition to Fenerbahce/ Ulker’s roster unless he gets a call up by the NBA in the following hours. The scoring record holder of the NBADL with 58 points against Texas Legends is leaving Idaho Stampede for the Turkish club which needs a boost in its back court after the injury of Kenan Sipahi.
According to this report by Hurriyet, Jackson will be arriving in Turkey on Friday. The 22 years old player was expected to start the season in Europe, as a member of French club ASVEL, but he was cut before playing any offficial game. The explanation for this move was that Jackson was “homesick”.
