As it was expected from Thursday, Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce/ Ulker announced officially the additions of Zack Wright and Pierre Jackson respectively. Both players will be eligible to play next week in Euroleague’s Top16 second round and Wright already landed in Athens.
As he said to the official site of Panathinaikos BC: “I am really excited. The fact that I am now part of such a great team speaks for itself about how excited I am. At the same time I realize that it’s a big opportunity for my career. I will try to help my team as much as I can and I am ready for this amazing adventure that opens up for me. I know a lot about Panathinaikos and I didn’t have to play for Rethymno to find out about the Clover was always one of the top teams in Europe and dominates the Greek League for years. It’s a huge team and a great organization. It’s clear what my presence has to offer, as Panathinaikos has already a great team. I will do whatever my coach asks me to do and I will give whatever I can in order to achieve our goals. I can understand how important it is for me to play next to great guards such as Diamantidis or Ukic. I am sure I will learn a lot from them. What I experience is something amazing”.
