Ten years after leaving Italy and Udine for the NBA and the Lakers, 30 years old Sasha Vujacic returns to Italy as a member of Reyer Venezia. After a 10 days contract and two games with the Clippers, the former NBA champion and also player of Anadolu Efes will finish the season in Italy in order to help his new team reach the play offs in Legabasket.
It remains to be seen if “the machine” as he is nicknamed can save the season of his new team after spending most of his time since last summer in the States where he was training individually. Vujacic was a member of Anadolu Efes the two previous seasons.
