Two surprise moves became official on Wednesday night. Two European players left the States and returned in the old continent as French guard Rodrigue Beaubois is now a player of Belgium’s local powerhouse Charleroi and Amadeo Della Valle turned pro in his home country, Italy, for Reggio Emilia.

Both players were officially presented today by their new teams and their situation is quite different. Former Ohio State member Della Valle is considered one of the top, if not the top, Italian talent of his age, he is 20 years old and signed a contract until the 30 of June 2019.

On the contrary Beaubois was considered by many the “next Tony Parker”, but a series of injuries made the Dallas Mavericks give up on him after four season in the NBA (2009-2013). Now, 26 years old Beaubois hopes to relaunch his career in Europe, starting with a domestic title in Belgium and a contract until the end of the season.
