Four old friends, connected by Olympiacos, talked to the media before Sunday’s Euroleague Final, but it was Euroleague CEO Jordi Bertomeu delivering the big news and stealing the thunder from coaches Jonas Kazlauskas (CSKA), Dusan Ivkovic (Olympiacos) and players Milos Teodosic (CSKA), Giorgos Printezis (Olympiacos).
Bertomeu anounced that the next two Euroleague Final Fours will be held in London and in the O2 Arena. A long time Euroleague plan comes to fruition and basketball is knocking UK’s door. Other than that, it was a little big strange seeing two former Olympiacos members, Teodosic and Kazlauskas, being in a Final press conference representing CSKA, a connection that is also shared by Dusan Ivkovic, who was also the boss of the Russians.
