One day before the Eurocup final Andrew Goudelock of Unics Kazan was announced as the Eurocup season MVP. The shooting guard of the Russian contenders is the fourth leading scorer (19.1 ppg) in the competition and he is one of the key players in Unics’ run to the title, which also translates to a spot in next season’s Euroleague.

Goudelock’s teammate in Unics, Chuck Eidson is a former Eurocup MVP from 2009, and the award can be considered a good omen for the future of the American guard. The two previous winners, Pat Beverley (2012) and Nikc Calathes (2013) are now playing in the NBA and 25 years old Goudelock may follow them, having prove himself as one of the best scorers in the old continent.

Of course, Goudelock is also part of the All Euroleague team, the only player of his team which was included in the best five, and he is also named ΜVP of the regional VTB league, the domestic competition of Unics.
