Alex Abrines had 20 points against Real Madrid last week, Barcelona got an easy win against their archrivals in Liga Endesa and the young forward hopes to repeat this, tomorrow night: “I hope so, I wish we will play again like that. If the team plays good is also easier for me to score and to help the team. Everybody scores, everybody plays defense. In every game some other player can step up. However it will a different game, a tough game and we will see what happens”
The target of Barca is simple. Control the tempo and not let Real run. As Abrines says: “If we play like that, we will win tomorrow. It’s not easy, because they have great players. The have an uptempo style, they like to run, they play one on one and if we managed to stop this, then we will have the advantage”.
Abrines created some fuss last year speaking to Eurohoops about him and Rudy Fernandez. As he explained once again: “I said that I can be as good as Rudy. I got the talent to be like Rudy, but he is still better than me. I am young, I am 20 years old. He has a long, great career. I have much work to do and I have my own personal limits. That’s my bet for tomorrow”.
