Maccabi Tel Aviv is the new Euroleague champions and Olympiacos’ owners send a congratulating letter to their heirs. In a letter addressed to president Simon Mizrahi and owner David Federman they express their feelings for the win of Maccabi.
“We would like to congratulate the players, the coaching staff, the management and everyone who contribute in this outstanding performance, winning the Euroleague 2014 championship. We are very happy you are the successors of Olympiacos in Euroleague top. You won the Euroleague by demonstrating distinguishable passion and desire, something that makes your accomplishment even more exceptional. Sincerely, Panagiotis and Georgios Angelopoulos”.
