The devastation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia because of the recent floods has mobilized the basketball community and today FIBA and FIBA Europe announced a donation of 100.000 euros for the relief effort.
FIBA President Yvan Mainini said: “We are extremely saddened to see the devastating impact of the floods which hit Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of those countries at this very difficult time”.
Also in Spain, Unicaja Malaga announced that for each ticket sold in tomorrow’s game against Gran Canaria, the club will donate one euro to the relief effort.
